Eastern Deanery, Diocese of Europe

St. Andrew’s Anglican Church in Moscow is a constituent member of the Eastern Archdeaconery within the Diocese in Europe. As Area Dean, St. Andrew’s Chaplain, the Rev. Canon Dr. Simon Stephens, OBE RN, is responsible for the welfare of Anglicans scattered across more than a dozen time zones in the world’s largest deanery.

Canon Stephens’ Deanery includes all of the former Soviet Union, Mongolia and Poland. Within this territory, there are active Anglican congregations associated with the Diocese of Europe in St. Petersburg, Kiev, Vladivostok, Warsaw and Ulaan Bataar.
