About us
St. Andrew's Moscow, one of 250 congregations in 36 countries that comprise the Anglican Diocese in Europe, ministers to an expatriate community that is scattered across 11 time zones.
Anglican worship in Moscow dates from 1553, when Tsar Ivan the Terrible allowed the first 'non-Orthodox' services among British traders.
Why St. Andrew? Scottish merchants living in Moscow in the 19th Century chose the patron saint of their native land.
