St. Andrew's Church in Moscow is a community of Christians who seek to

Apokrisarios

In addition to his duties as Chaplain of St. Andrew's Moscow and an Area Dean in the Diocese in Europe, the Rev. Dr. Canon Simon Stephens, OBE RN, is also the Apokrisarios (representative) of the Archbishop of Canterbury to his Holiness Kirill, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia.

As the Archbishop’s representative, Canon Stephens is responsible for day to day diplomacy between the two churches in the Russian capital. Officially, Canon Stephens also serves as Chaplain to the British Embassy.
